Better Pictures provides superior quality film transfer to DVD. 8mm & Super 8mm Film is digitally scanned using the latest frame by frame technology. The advantage of this method of transfer is that the detail and resolution of the scanned images are far superior to the older 'projection method' of film transfer commonly used by most transfer businesses in Australia.
Frame by frame film scanning technology used by Better Pictures provides a superior, flicker-free image.

Film (8mm, Super 8) transfer to DVD includes:
- Film cleaned and damaged splices replaced
- Transfer of your film to DVD using high quality frame by frame scan technology
- DVD Menu and Chapter points for each film reel on DVD
- Background Music
- DVD case with printed title on sleeve
- Title printed on DVD face
Film (16mm) transfer to DVD includes:
- Film cleaned and damaged splices replaced
- DVD Menu and Chapter points for each film reel on DVD
- DVD case with printed title on sleeve
- Title printed on DVD face
*Film reels are compiled on to DVD in a random order. If you wish to have your film reels transferred in a particular order, please number each film reel in the order you would like it to play (eg film 1, film 2, etc).

Customized DVD Face and Cover Design
Your DVD Cover and face will include 4 images extracted from your film reels and title of your choice. We can also incorporate photos you supply (which we scan) and company logos.
We print directly onto the face of your DVD. (We do not use stickers.)
For just a little extra, add that 'Hollywood touch' by having your film edited and then transferred to DVD. Editing can include:
- Removal of unwanted footage
- Blending of each scene together (transitions)
- Colour and exposure correction
- Include scanned photos and images in final production
- Special effects
